Busy week for our 3×3 teams

In preparation for the upcoming FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup scheduled to be held in Singapore from March 27th to 31st, our national men’s and women’s 3×3 basketball teams are actively engaged in their training.


Today, the women’s team embarked on their trip to Manila, Philippines, to participate in the prestigious SBP Invitational 3×3 tournament. Set against the backdrop of the vibrant city, our team is gearing up to showcase their skills and determination as they face off against formidable opponents from Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

The SBP Invitational 3×3 serves as a platform for intense competition and camaraderie, bringing together talented athletes from across the region. Brimming with confidence and enthusiasm, our team is eager to demonstrate their prowess on the court and make their mark in this highly anticipated event.

Following the tournament, our team will extend their stay in Manila for an intensive training program. They will utilise this valuable opportunity to fine-tune their strategies, enhance their teamwork, and further elevate their performance. With their sights set on continuous improvement, our athletes are committed to maximizing their time in Manila, soaking in the experience, and pushing their limits to new heights.

As they immerse themselves in Manila’s vibrant basketball culture, our team will strive for victory and forge lasting connections and memories that will enrich their journey as athletes. Following the conclusion of the SBP Invitational 3×3 tournament, our women’s team will extend their stay in Manila for an intensive training period, continuing their preparations until March 22nd. During this extended training stay, they can refine their skills, focus on tactical adjustments, and strengthen team cohesion under the guidance of their coaches and training staff.

Tomorrow will be a very exciting journey for our men’s team. They set off for Shanghai to participate in the highly anticipated China Dragon 3×3 Super League, competing under the esteemed banner of Rising Star. This prestigious league promises fierce competition and an electrifying atmosphere as our team prepares to showcase their skills on the international stage.

Following their engagements in the China Dragon 3×3 Super League, our men’s team will continue their journey to Wuxi, where they will have the invaluable opportunity to engage in intensive training sessions alongside the China national team and professional teams from both China and Serbia. This immersive training experience is designed to provide our athletes with the optimal environment to refine their techniques, enhance their tactical understanding, and foster camaraderie with fellow competitors.
