On the 22nd and 23rd of April, Temerloh hosted a Basic Basketball Knowledge Sharing event. Held in the evenings on weekdays, the gathering drew around 30 enthusiastic participants, ranging from children to adults. Many expressed keen interest in expanding their knowledge further, with some even suggesting the possibility of organising a comprehensive referee training course – an idea warmly welcomed by all.
The event was packed with enriching activities. Notably, SJKC Kuala Krau and SJKC Lanchang extended invitations for an “FIBA Referee Career Sharing Session.” Beyond basketball officiating insights, the discussions emphasised the importance of gratitude and learning for the young participants, envisioning them as future leaders of the nation.
The itinerary concluded with a visit to Pendidikan Daerah Bera, where the latest basketball regulations were elucidated to the directors of basketball associations across Pahang’s districts. This exchange aimed to ensure a thorough understanding and consistent application of the sport’s rules throughout the region.
