Dato’ Seri Lee Tian Hock, President of the Malaysia Basketball Association (MABA), will lead a delegation tonight to the FIBA headquarters in Mies, Switzerland, for a historic meeting with the leadership of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). This pivotal engagement marks an important step for Malaysian basketball on the global stage, reflecting the President’s ambition to elevate the nation’s basketball program to a higher level.
The delegation includes Presidents from twelve affiliates across the country, Presidential Council members, Chairman from management committees, and two senior executives. Together, they will engage in in-depth discussions with FIBA leadership.
Following the meeting, the delegation will participate in a series of breakout sessions with FIBA’s key departments to explore strategies for advancing basketball development and innovation while drawing from the expertise of the world basketball.
Additionally, the delegation has been invited to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to witness the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, featuring the finest 3×3 basketball players from around the world.
This landmark visit promises to open a new chapter for Malaysian basketball.
