马中青年3×3友好篮球赛隆重开幕
The 4th China–Malaysia Youth 3×3 Friendly Basketball Tournament officially kicked off today at the MABA Stadium. The event is organized by the Chinese Students Association of Taylor’s University, co-organized by the Malaysia–China Friendship Association, and supported by the Embassy of the China in Malaysia. Young players from both countries gathered on the court to foster friendships through basketball and deepen mutual understanding through competition.
第四届马中青年3×3友好篮球赛于今天在大马篮总篮球馆隆重开幕。本届赛事由泰莱大学中国学生会主办，马中友好协会协办，并获得中国驻马来西亚大使馆的支持。来自马中两国的青年球员齐聚一堂，以球会友、以赛促情，共同书写友谊新篇章。
During the opening ceremony, Mr Chey delivered a heartfelt speech. He noted that with over half a century of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, this tournament—centered on youth, basketball, and friendship—adds vibrant energy and youthful momentum to the ongoing bilateral relationship. He emphasized that basketball is more than just a sport; it is a powerful medium for connecting people.
开幕仪式上，马来西亚篮球总会（MABA）副会长谢铁文先生受邀发表致辞。他表示，马中建交逾半世纪，在这个意义深远的历史节点上，以青年、篮球和友好为核心的比赛，为两国关系注入了新的青春活力与正能量。他强调，篮球不仅是一项运动，更是连接人心、推动民间交流的重要桥梁。
Mr. Chey also expressed his sincere appreciation to the Malaysia–China Friendship Association for its long-standing efforts in promoting youth exchanges between the two nations. He acknowledged the honor MABA felt in providing venue and technical support for the event and extended gratitude to the China Embassy in Malaysia for its strong backing, as well as to the organizing team from Taylor’s University for their dedicated planning and execution.
谢副会长也特别感谢马中友好协会长期以来致力于推动双边青年交流，并对本次活动给予高度评价。他指出，马来西亚篮球总会十分荣幸能为赛事提供场地与技术支持，也感谢中国驻马大使馆的鼎力支持以及泰莱大学中国学生会的辛勤筹备。
MABA Secretary General Mr. Tan Kee Hian was also present at the event to witness this meaningful exchange that celebrates youth and friendship.
除了谢铁文副会长，马来西亚篮球总会秘书长陈其贤先生也莅临现场，共同见证这场属于青年与友谊的篮球盛事。
