U-17 & Agong Cup – Group Draw

The ball never stops bouncing, and that rings especially true this December. The inaugural Major Basketball League Malaysia will be followed by two national championships – the 56th MABA/Matrix Under-17 Youth Championship and the 62nd MABA/MJ Health Agong Cup – back to back. Get ready for excitement, drama, and intense competition!

The 56th MABA/Matrix Under-17 Youth Championship is set to take place from December 12th to December 20th at Han Chiang Stadium in Penang. This year, 16 women’s and 19 men’s teams from around the country will compete for the championship title. Notably, Johor and Selangor will each send two men’s and two women’s teams, and Negeri Sembilan will also be sending two men’s teams to make their presence felt on the court.

For the women’s division, the six teams will compete in a single round-robin format. With an attractive prize money of RM90,000 up for grabs for the winners, everyone should be expecting some fiercely competitive competition.
